Role of the Thai Missionary Society [TMS] in Evangelization in the Buddhist context of the Thai Catholic Church [Church of Thailand]
Between witness and dialogue leading to complementary and harmony
The scope of this study is to research into the beginnings of the Thai Missonary Society [TMS] and its later development. As the TMS is situated in the context of Thailand. I have had to study in brieft history of this great land, and in particular of the Thai Catholic Church. [Church of Thailand] This paper also studied the contribution that has made to the growth of the Church in the region. Though the study has very much a historical character, a study of the motivations for the beginning of this missionary society has guide me to purpose guidelines for the future, particularly “Role of the Thai Missionary Society [TMS] in Evangelization in the Buddhist context of the Thai Catholic Church [Church of Thailand]: Between witness and dialogue leading to complementary and harmony. As a member of the Thai Missionary Society [TMS], I feel deep within me that it is my responsibility to know, to study and to propagate its for the present and future the well-being of the Society. I have a vision and a mission for the Apostolic Institute which founded in Thailand under the name of Thai Missionary Society.
